Traditional Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is the most commonly offered and best known type of massage. If it's your first time getting a massage, a Swedish massage is the perfect introduction. During a Swedish massage, light oils or lotions are used to facilitate smooth, gliding strokes called effleurage. Other classic Swedish massage techniques include kneading, friction, stretching and tapping. Swedish massage uses firm yet gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, and decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Swedish Massage with Aromatherapy
During a Swedish/Aromatherapy treatment, essential massage oils are used to facilitate smooth gliding strokes, kneading, friction, stretching and tapping. Botanical aromas increase the effectiveness of treatment by attending to your physical, mental and cognitive functions.
